More Throwing Away cont
After getting up and having breakfast, I decided to finally tackle underneath my long counter in the corner near the door that leads to the livingroom for those who know my house. My bedroom is the old den. I have 2 doors. One that leads to the kitchen and one leading to the livingroom. Well I finally tackled that little corner behind the door that leads to the livingroom. I dragged out a bag of puzzles I hadn't done in probably 20 years if that. Only kept one, a chocolate candy wrapper design one. I dragged out a brown box that had handles I though was filled with old Soap Opera Digests and Soap Opera Weeklys, well there was a bag of a couple, but what I found in that box was a white box with the Uconn logo on it. filled with a plastic bag of stuff, including a deck of magic cards with directions and an old adding machine and its electrical cord. Dad said I could keep that to store stuff in. I also found a box with 3 round bars of soap!!! Still smelled nice. I now am supplied with a lifetime of soap so no more soaps for my birthday or Christmas until I tell you otherwise. I also found my BE High School key chain from high school I thought I lost. I must have been out of it when I stored have this stuff. Or I am getting very forgetful,(Watch what you are thinking people!!), oh well.
Well after that I pushed a box that has my surge protector on it about an inch or two and so I can go underneath my counter better in my chair. Didn't want to move it any further or I would knock my tv over. Granted it is a thin set and moved way back on my counter, but you never know.
Now I am really proud of myself for doing all that today. :) this weekend even my cousin Mark's wife Pam said she hadn't even been doing any throwing away of things. So I guess from the emails I have been getting from some of you, I have given you the courage to do the same. Well then go to it. Don't dawdle, get off your duffs and just do it!!
Tonight we had hamburgers and corn on the cob. I have a doctor's appointment on Friday with respiratory.
