Nice Sunday

Today was a nice day all around and it even ended nice with some pictures my brother sent of my niece and a dog they are dogsitting for.

I got up and dressed. Read the Parade and got our local tv guide.

We had really nice dinner of scallops rolled up in bacon, something Dad found some months ago in a package that was enough for several meals. And rice, corn and shrimp. Loved every minute of it. :) It was a nice meal.

Then we just sat back and relaxed most of the day. Dad did try and call my Uncle Bud, but the phone was busy.(Probably online.).

Now I am sitting her at almost midnight watching a new movie reunion of Walker, Texas Ranger which started late due to a football game. :( Loved that show.And they just killed my favorite character off, Alex. Walker isnt going to be too happy. Makes for another reunion movie, possibly????

Finally some Sun

Finally today we had some sun. After about a week of rain or clouds. I almost forgot what it looked like. Although it didnt come out until the afternoon, at leasst it made an appearance. Today was good day. Dad was in a pretty good mood and I was too. I staayed in bed until 1. I had a nice breakfast(milk & English Muffin) and lunch(tomato soup with rice).

I watched tv all day. Nothing much. Mostly TVLand and Bonanza.

Dinner was leftover meatloaf and mashed potatoes and corn.

We didnt get that much water in our cellar thank God. Nor in Danbury either from what a friend said considering all the rain. Dad thinks it is because it was so dry in days before the rain that the earth just soaked it up.

Although in some parts of where I live there was some flooding.

I will upload more pictures at photobucket to use on my blog. I just have been so busy with other things. But I think this picture will do. :)
