September 11th 2005

I am writing this late due to the fact I couldnt get in here. I would have done this about 11:45 pm. Well, Today was a solemn day in the USA, England, and other Countries who lost people on 9/11/2001. I was in bed just waking up when the second tower hit. As a matter of fact the news was showing a replay of the first one when the second one hit. I called out to Dad and my paternal grandparent's (who were alive and living with us.). We watched it all day. Of course I have relatives by marriage in the area. My brother's wife has family there and her brother lives there, so we were all praying and hoping all would be ok. And our prayer were answered. Her brother was in contact by night time (if I remember correctly) as were her other family members who work(ed) or live near the area. It also is my sister in law's mother's birthday. Not one I want to remember. I didnt even go online until after midnight. And then I only stayed on for about a half hour. Keeping the phone free in case my brother called for news. Today all Dad and I did was the same home routine for a Sunday. He got the paper. I got the tv guide out of it. We had Sunday dinner of steak, stewed tomatoes (which we haven' t had in a while and I Love), and rice. Later Dad dished some orange/vanilla swirl icecream. For supper I had leftover pizza from Friday night. Last night we had bacon/ cheeseburgers with potato salad. Tues I have a Doctor's appointment. So I will probably just go on for a half hour on Monday to do my blog. Night
