Weekend in Salem

Well this weekend was a blast. We got up about 7 on Saturday. Was out on the road by 10:00. It was bumper to bumper on the Mass Turnpike but we still made good timing to Salem. We rested somewhat the first afternoon until later. We went out on the streets. Salem residents start Halloween early. We saw people dressed up as witches etc. Matt got kettle corn, which was quite good.

That night for supper we had pizza. Saturday Morning we all got up and had breakfast. Matt, Dad and Susannah took off sometime later to a pumpkin patch. I didnt go. Good thing. It wasn't ideal for wheelchairs. very rugged area.

For Sunday Dinner Matt cooked fish on the grill and BA made mashed potato with artichoke. Talk about my two favorite foods together. Very good!!! Speaking of which Dad wants the recipe.

This morning I awoke to laughter and talk. I had my usual for breakfast which is either a bagel and tea or toast and tea. I had the first of which.

We left about 10:45 and was home by 1:45. The time difference is that we stopped a few timees for drinks and Dad for lunch and a drink. But still was good timing. The triaffic was smoother going home. No stop and go. Don't you hate that? We do.

All in all I rate the weekend of perfect weather and good company and food a perfect 10. :)
