My Day in Sturbridge, MA

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I woke at 8 am and had a half a banana and a glass of chocolate milk. Got dressed after a bit and we were off by 10ish. I wore my black jogging pants with the red stripe and a pink turtle neck and my hooded sweatshirt.

We were on our way to Sturbrige, Mass to meet an old family friend, who was visiting his sister who lives in around the Boston area.

We had a traffic tie up on the highway, so Dad took an exit and went some back roads. He had to stop and ask 2 people for direction to make sure he was going the right way.

We finally got to a nice restaurant that looked like an old house. It was very accessable for the handicapped, which made us happy. I had a clam strip roll of which I only ate the clams and french fries and a little container of cole slaw. I ate more than I thought I would. I was stuffed. I didnt finish the fries.

We sat and talked awhile. Dad and our family friend had different deserts. I had none because I was soo full. :)

We took off a little after 3 and was home with in the hour. A good time was had for all.

Phoned my brother, Matt. And now as of 5:22 just ending this entry.

I really am not as tired as I thought I'd be. But I am sure stuffed. I am not even having dinner.

Forgot to tell you about the weather! It was mild in the low 50s. Cloudy and misty and turnd sprinkly for a bit, but on the way home the sun popped out.

I wished it would stay like this all year around. Don't you, New Englanders???
