Father's Day-Dad's and my Birthdays 2008

Yesterday was Father's Day and combo Birthday Celebration in Athol, MA. We had a pretty good turnout. Besides Dad and I, there were my Brother and his family, My cousins, Peter and Nancy and their families, minus one daughter. And My cousin Mark's mother in law. The hosts of this family celebration were my Uncle Bud and my aunt Betty.

Once again they pulled it off. We had one of my favorite meals, my uncle's shrimp scampi, salads, bread, and pies and my Dad bought and brought up a watermelon. Which ironically my uncle had in mind of making pickled watermelon rind. Go figure. He got the recipe off the internet at http://www.cooks.com

I got nice small gifts, 2 jars of the Famous Gagnon Pickles (yum), coconut bars, and a small photo album and 2 small bottles of lotion.

Once again even though not as many showed as other years, we had a great time.
