Another week.

We are in another week. The water now smells like clorine. At least we can drink it. Or can we? I wonder. Now the Mayor is talking a reverse 911 system. They call us in the event of an emergency. I can just see that going off without hitch.

The Senate debated on Roberts' confirmation. Vote is either Wednesday or Thursday from what I hear. You know they never did this debating of a Supreme Court Justice until 1955? The president picked someone, the Judiciary Committee voted and then the swearing in. At least that is what was said on sidebar on Court TV while they showed the Senate debateing. Nothing much happened around the house here today. Same old thing.n
