A Weekend in Bristol
Well, Now it looks like Sunday or Monday, most likely Monday, we will be able to drink out city water. Good thing the bottled water tastes pretty good. Also the Bristol MuM Festival started this weekend. My mom was the assistance chairwoman of the Arts part of it in the early to mid 70s. I loved going to some of the functions as a kid. But now it really is a pain. No fun. They really toned it down from the good ole days. Dad is going to the arts show on Friday or Saturday next. Today Dad and I just sat around. I watched my eyelids most of the day. I did see some of the news about the newest hurricane in Texas. Looks like they faired alittle better than in Louisianna. Only one death (some news sources said more, but I trust CNN.), a woman who burned to death. They believe from her own cigerette. Because there was no other smoke damage other than near her body. We had Mom's Mac Cassarole tonight. That is elbow Mac with stewed tomatoes, mushrooms and grated cheddar cheese. Think of it as Mac and cheese with the stewed tomatoes and Mushrooms and there you have it. I love it. I always have seconds no matter how I feel. Not much on tonight. Will probably watch TVland or Hallmark Channel. They both have good stuff on them. Well night for now. Tell me what you all think.
