Labor Day Weekend
We set out for Salem, Mass on Friday. We left just before 10 AM. Made good time going up. We got in Salem, and the traffic was bad. They are still doing construction.
Dad and I finally got to the new house and were greeted by Matt.
I loved the outside from the last time we saw it. But the inside is beautiful. Matt and BA did a nice job with the upstairs which is where they live. We will live downstairs. I got to see what will be my room. I love it. Much bigger. And right across from the bathroom, which will make it easier for both Dad and I.
The Neighborhood is really nice and the neighbors friendly. We took a walk that night and walked our regular walk we take when we come up to visit. I can't wait to do it when we go to live. The sidewalks and streets are better designed for wheelchairs. More curb cuts. Very wheelchair accessible. Tom and Sue also came up for the weekend also. After they went to their place and dropped off stuff they came over. While we were there we went to The Common (park). I love this place. Very open. Very level. I also love the shops area. Dad loves this little gallery we go into. It has sea paintings. He just wanted to see if they had any new ones from the last time. We walked around and the kids wanted a cookie so we stopped. I got a bottled water to take with me. Meals were with family. This was one fun weekend.
