First outpatient radiation treatment

Well, Dad and I were up at 6:30 out of the house by 9 something. We got to Hartford Hospital and waited in the nice new Radiology waitingroom. the size of a long hallway. The Doctors (Dr. Dowsett being one of them.) did xray to see where to put the beam.)

After that I sat in a small waiting room with a tv. A nurse named Cheryl ask if I wanted a Gingerale. And she got me one. I was able to watch Rachael and the View before they called me back to do the treatment. It didnt take long this time. Placement of me and treatment maybe 20 minutes. Though Dr. D said further treatments may take longer, something to do with the beam and the usage. I have couple more weeks to go. Should be done just before New Years eve.

We went to McD's to get something to take home. I later laid on my bed on my side. I have a little bit of a rash, (not from the treatments) on my backside.

Dad later went to get a pizza. Toppings, mushrooms, green bell pepper, onion and anchovies. I ate 1 medium piece and 2 small wedges. That tells you my appetite is just fine. No side affects
