Tonight Santa Claus arrived in style atop the back of the Hawthorne Hotel. There was also a caroling/sing along. Songs were pretty much the norm. This year was probably one of the best Thanksgivings in a long time. It was spent in Salem with family at BA's parent's "weekend condo", across the street from where we live. Last Saturday Night I went to to Plainville HS to see the Plainville Choral Society put on the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast. After seeing the animated version. Well today was an early day. We went to see my respitory Dr (who will be leaving next month) for another checkup. They did a blood gas, hate those things, but the nurse used novacaine first and she was good. Test came back good. So whatever I am doing must be ok. I am on 1 liter of oxygen. This has been one crazy week for me. We changed internet servers, and my bowels are still not regular (won't go into it.). And I am still not with it at times. Other than that same ole, same ole. I watched Kid Nation on CBS last night. Not a bad show. It is about a bunch of kids ages 7- 17. And they take an old abandon town and make it theirs. Well I spent most of my summer in the hospital. From July 3 to just before Labor Day I was in the hospital. It started with another surgery on my cancer below. Just when things were looking up I developed a cough which turned into pneumonia and a fistula, which was fixed as soon as I was stable from my pneumonia. Today I saw Dr. Brewer again. She examined me to feel and see exactly where the tumor is so she has a general idea of what to do. We talked about what will be done during surgery. She is is going to take out not only the tumor but whatever organ except the bowel that was left. She doesn't want to even go near the bowel. I will be in the hosp a possible day or 2. Well we were up and out by 8 am for blood work. Got there the lady was nice talked about baseball because I had my pink Boston Redsox hat on, and her going camping this weekend. I will say it here and now, no one knows how to draw blood or do IV's anymore. And this woman was a tech not a nurse!! I had to get stuck 2 times. Well home 2 days. Matt has called, Aunt Betty has called, 3 friends from yahoo have emailed. Checked my email tonight and nothing at usadatanet.net. You can now email. Not alot at first. First off Happy Birthday, Aunt Chris. Now to today, I saw Dr Brewer today at 4:30pm. Looks like it is a go ahead for another surgery, well two in one. First a skin graph then the procedure to excise the tumor again. I won't be in isolation, but that doesn't mean I drop my guard either. There could be infection due to the skin graph. Today it I went to see dr Brewer. She examined me and took a sample. We were home by 4. We had stew for supper. We hadn't had stew in we didn't know when. We watched some of the Anna Nicole thing. What is going on with our judicial system. I would fire that judge. Talk about favoretism. Now we hear that her mother is filed an appeal. Another drawn out day. Oh well such as life.
